Service and Maintenance
Is your automated gate, barrier or bollard working safely and efficiently? Automated gate and barrier systems are required to be inspected and tested annually for compliance with the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC. It is the responsibility of the owner of the automated gate or barrier to ensure that the system is safe in operation. It is recommended that an automation system is serviced annually; however, certain systems will require a more frequent schedule of maintenance. For instance, if your automated gate or barrier is operated more than 12 times a day, example scenarios of this would be commercial premises and apartment blocks; we would recommend that the system is serviced every six months. We find that by undertaking a preventative maintenance schedule you can prolong the life expectancy of your system whilst at the same time providing safe and efficient operation. We can provide a bespoke maintenance program and service contracts to meet your specific system requirements taking into account usage levels and desired emergency callout response times. We can service, maintain and repair new and existing systems, and are familiar with many systems including those from manufacturers such as BFT, BPT/Fadini, Came, FAAC, Nice, SEA, Aprimatic, Ditec and Gibidi.
